16-Year-Old Charged As Adult In Reading Killing, Police Say

The unnamed 16-year-old is accused of killing Dominic Amsbaugh on Tuesday, Sept. 12, the department said. 

Amsbaugh, 18, was killed on Amity Street near the 11th and Pike Playground, according to police. 

Authorities "converged on" the suspect early on Friday, Sept. 15 on the 1100 bock of Scott Street and he surrendered without incident, they added. 

He is charged with first- and third-degree murder as an adult, police said.
